IntoScience is the digital learning resource that engages students and empowers teachers in their love of science.
Engage your students.
IntoScience gives each student their own customisable avatar, research lab, observatory and access to over 120 unique science environments such as the Crash Test Zone, Cell Explorer, Energy Island, the Aswan Dam and many more engaging learning spaces. Each activity offers inquiry-based and practical learning from curriculum aligned coverage, with tangible results for every action.
Teacher control and resources.
IntoScience offers unparalleled control for teachers, meaning easier classroom management. Summon all online students to an activity and keep them focused on task. View real time results. Each activity includes a powerful lesson guide, viewable alongside the activity. Printable lesson guides allow further exploration of the topic, and hundreds of HD videos support the content. You need never Google again.
Learn by doing.
IntoScience puts teachers and students at the controls of engaging activities to learn science through practical experiments. In Phases of the Moon, students are invited to become an Astrophotographer and use a telescopic camera to capture eight phases of the moon. Each student can experiment by viewing the moon from different hemispheres, changing the timescale and placing their photos in the correct order.
How many schools have their own Crash Test facility? IntoScience does. Students explore the effect of friction on stopping distance by performing their own set of experiments in the Crash Test Zone. Recording data, graphing and making predictions on how different factors will affect their experiment, this is just one activity that will engage and inform students on many areas of the science curriculum.
Real-time quizzing against other students.
Millions of students already love The Third Degree, having taken part in World Science Day during the World Education Games. Students compete against each other in this live multi-player science quiz, racing to answer as many questions as possible. Students select their difficulty level, receiving more points for the harder questions. As a tool for student engagement, nothing beats The Third Degree.
